The night was cold. Rain poured from the heavens as if god were once again cleansing the earth. The flood of Moses' day seemed to be returning.. I had left my windows slightly cracked, and upon realizing it was raining, I rushed outside.. When I slipped on the wet grass..

#%(*(&% #*(#%!!!!!!!!!!!! Profanity never before heard could have been for miles as I watched my Blackberry's illuminated screen float down the gutter..

I'm with T-Mobile, and now considering the G1.. Email, browsing, and voice is a must. Considering I can't renew my contract just yet, and I'd like to keep the cost down.. What would you suggest?

What a story, my man, what a story. :D
I am afraid I am not a cell phone specialist, nor am I in the U.S. to recommend you something good. Personally, I am waiting for Palm Pre to come out. :)

id stear clear of a g1 as iv used and know people who have regretted them within a day or so of it being placed in their hands. Id go for the Iphone (have the 3g personaly) as with the soon to come update and business packs it will continue to blow holes in other devices.

I just got the Blackberry Storm from Verizon and it is pretty damn nice. A lot better than my old Treo 700wx. Not sure about Tmobile though.

I'm considering springing for the Iphone, but it's hard to justify that amount(unlocked). I wouldn't say that I'm cheap, just that I'm the type to seriously shop around and compare before making a purchase. For this reason I rarely am dissatisfied with anything I buy and I'd like to keep it that way for the most part.

I'm in the market myself, but I just don't keep up with cell phone features. It's time to start researching though. The iPhone and Blackberry Storm look enticing.

The iPhone is a great tool and id admit if you buy it here (UK) on pay & go its around £365 although the P&G tariff includes unlimited 3G free on O2.Although obviously cheaper on the contracts, but it is a very well rounded device with a good backing and regular updates.

Still find it amusing however that many companies are now hot on apples heels and whenever i enter the office I have a new phone flashed at me with the usual "this is better" remark, however much of a clone it is. Although I wouldn’t be without myn, started with the 2G and upgraded to the 3G on release, might yet be the first phone that i have more than one version of :uhh: :D

No iPhone for me. I played around with a friend of mine's this week and although it's great, I now know I've got to have a physical qwerty.
