New MSN look

Just noticed MSN has a new look today
I think it only happened today, I didnt notice it yesterday anyway but I was only on hotmail.

I found a link which is dead for me anyway, here

Its the text which says "A welcome from Bill Gates" just below his pic on the main page.
Anyone else getting a dead link?

I dont think hotmail has changed anymore but that was changed not too long ago

Hey John,

Havent actually loaded up MSN in awhile - may have to now to check out the new look.

If youve never used gaim, take a look at it.

integrated msn, aol, icq and yahoo onto 1 screen - can even have multiple accounts from each - OS script, so worth checking out (runs on windows and linux)

Gaim is definitely worthwhile, though each time the various IM companies change their protocols, Gaim has to play catch up. Oh well, at least Gaim is open source!

I love Gaim. Wouldn't be without it these days.

MSN/Hotmail are changing their layouts monthly it seems. I actually like the old MSN site better than the new one. This one has too many colors/graphics all over the place...

I always thought the MSN web page was a bit slow.

looks like there gearing up for a challenge in the search market.
there dropping looksmart on january 15th and apparently are going pure inktomi results until msnbot is fully developed.
there new site has a bigger search box, enticing people to use there search.

Yes I agree I find the MSN Web Site to be rather slow. I like the new look has nice smooth flowing appeal to it.

I meant the actual website Andrew instead of the instant chat program

I think it does use a lot of graphics which isnt good for anyone on a slow connection like 56k, maybe even 128k but im on 600k so I never really notice any problems with sites loading

I did not notice a difference either, but I am sure someone with a slower connection would notice a noticable difference.
