New guy in town!

Hey everyone!

What a nice, clean looking forum you have here. Pretty large community too, if I do say so myself ;)

A little bit about me:

21 Years of age, have been developing a hosting company for the past six months or so, although we're close to launch.

I ride bikes, play tennis, shoot guns (Your offsite backups are protected by deadly force! Haha j/k), hike, camp. I just love being out doors. I'm trying to think of a way to create an "out door office" so I can get work done while sitting outside and enjoying the weather.

I love good quality beers, having a good time, etc. I'm a young dude, what you expect? But I also work like a mad-man, and get a ton of stuff done. So its expected for me to unwind and get loose on the weekends after a week of stress.

I've been doing web design/development since I was 13 or 14, and business/entrepreneurship has been something that interested me for as long as I can remember. I'm excited to be able to combine two things I really am passionate about, and I feel optimistic about my current venture.

All in all, figured I should pop in and properly introduce myself before venturing off into the forums.

I'd toss a link out for you to check out my site, but not sure if thats against the rules. I guess I better go read them. But judging by my name, it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out ;)

Have a good day!

Hay.. Welcome to HD.

This is one of the detailed Intro thread I have seen in while. :)
I hope you will like this place.

Welcome to HD - left off your name, so we don't know what to call you - :) But a nice introduction thread.

Pretty much what you've described is the same as me - trying to be outside as much as possible. One big advantage in the hosting industry (or online commerce for that matter) is that you can work from anywhere. Personally I prefer to work from the back deck at my house with a cigar in one hand and a coke, whiskey or beer in the other. Living in Omaha means we had nothing but snow for the past few months, but the weather is starting to change.

Fire up your notebook, get a power extension cord and kick back on a lounge chair and get ready to work ;)

Hi Curtis, thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself. I wish everyone would present themselves so that we not only communicate but know WHO we are communicating with. :)

Welcome to HostingDiscussion.com! I am glad you joined our community (and thank you for kind words) and I hope you will enjoy the experience.

Looking forward to interacting with you. If you need anything, feel free to contact me directly.

Welcome to the forum! :)

Very nice introduction, also. I hope you enjoy being a part of HD as much as we all do.

P.S. - :D Gotta love WI-FI, Conor! What kind of cigars do you like now a days? I love me some "Rocky Patel's".

Hey, firstly welcome to HD, and a nice into you've got there :), hopefully we'l have a natter at some point as like handson you've got a similar start to myself also :). That said and although off topic a tad for the out/indoor office why not try the release of most married men :P a shed :D

Had the pleasure to meet Rocky a couple of years back - great guy, and great cigars. He put out a new line recently "Edge" and "Edge Lite" which are most enjoyable! I've been partial to JFR and Excaliburs for years, but Edge is a nice blend, and less money!

We'll load up a new thread on this! Maybe have to send you some if you can't get them local :)

Oh wow, that's pretty impressive! :D

My favorite one is the "Vintage 1990" for sure. I had the "Renaissance" this past friday night (was very nice also). I'll have to try the "Edge" next time. Anyways, going off topic (sorry!), this could go on forever! :P
