New Bulletin Board (Seems vB)

I wouldn't want to use something like this until I saw it working on a big forum.
You need to know how they handle a lot of users on at the same time, or how the forum is with a very large database, things like that.
Checked out their own forum and it is still small so can't really tell from that.
Have you seen any large forums using it?
Or any that has a lot of users on?

It's the kind of thing you don't want to run unless it is tried and tested, especially for security and stability.

True... We don't know how many resources would it use once it gets Popular. I haven't seen any other boards using it.

Ahh, MyBB... I remember them. Basically, the story goes, when Richard came and took over XMB, the rest of the team that were left went and created MyBB. Basically, Richard has ruined XMB (In my opinion), and as for MyBB... well, it's been in development like that since the 1.5 release of XMB - So you can see, that's a long long time. (That's the short version by the way :P )

I've no doubt MyBB is good, I mean the coders are very skilled, and much much better than Richard and co, but over time a few of the people at MyBB have dropped out, etc. - I used to be really into XMB, and knew the code pretty well and would help the users out... but MyBB never took off as XMB did, and the progress on MyBB was very very slow, why I jumped ship to phpBB (If XMB was still being developed by the original people I probably wouldn't have changed actually, heh).

The major thing I don't like about MyBB would have to be that it's been in development like that for literally ages. Pretty much like phpBB 2.2 has. :P
