Any time you can network with someone where two hands rub together, it's a good thing. CPAs working with Lawyers, business coaches, etc is always a great match.
For web hosting companies, teaming up with Coaches is a great source too. Certainly web designers and graphic designers, but also check out print shops and computer repair people. Especially small ones, they're always willing to refer traffic for a piece of the pie.
When I first starting web hosting I was very active in a graphic design forum (long since closed). I didn't provide web hosting help, I provide web design help FOR FREE to anyone who wanted it. I researched programming problems and provided fixes.
Heck, I still do a portion of that today, not just here on these forums, but via facebook in various groups.
This lends to additional exposure for our Web Deisgn but more important our "on demand" type of solutions. Sometimes it's not about getting everything, but more about getting something!
