Host Extraordinaire
Hello,

I'm seeking a partner for my hosting venture. Details will be discussed with interested parties only. However here's what I'll list:

-Partner is required to pay 50% of all costs and in turn will receive 50% of all profits.

-Server is already acquired at total payment of $90 per month, you will be responsible to pay half of that.

-Seeking someone with web design skills but not required.

-Seeking someone with PHP skills, but not required

-Seeking someone with knowledge of the web hosting industry, this is required.

You MUST have experience, not just on the client end. I need someone who has either done tech support, server administration, etc. I need a knowledgable partner.

Terms: If by the end of the first 60 days I am not satisfied with your performance as a partner, I reserve the right to terminate your status and resume 100% ownership in the company.

Two ways to become partner:

A: Buy your way in. You can purchase half of the company ($150) and become a partner that way.

B: Earn your spot and go through a 60 day trial period, if I don't like how you operate, you will be asked to leave.

Sound reasonable? All right, please reply with your contact information, your skills, and what you can bring to the table.

Thanks.

While compelling, more details other than the $90 server would be helpful for those interested in possibly partnering with you. In addition, the 60-day performance period should really be reciprocated.

I have added you to my MSN. ;-)

After not being able to find a suitable partner, I will be going at this solo, however if you feel you wish to become my partner feel free to keep replying and I may just choose you.

Thanks.

I am willing...

Plan B please. I currently own www.American-Hoster.com and helped build www.Platinum-Hoster.com and another site(*Though other partner ran off with clients*). I currelty administrate over 30 servers which I install custom scripts for the best protection on each. I have PHP security skills as I have made the 1st undecryptable PHP output encryption script; www.source-be-gone.com (it is free). I have extreme graphics skills as well, specializing in 3D flash movies.

You can PM me ...

... via Yahoo: y_4_h_0_0_i
... via MSN: American@Charter.net (e-mail does not exist any more so e-mails sent to it are ignored uncontrollably)
... via AIM: imferno american

Legally if sell 50% of a company you cannot terminate your partner without a buyout agreement. I know this from my painting company and a deadbeat business partner. Cost me $5k to get rid of him and he brought nothing to the table. However he did own 50% of the company.

I actually see this own half but I can terminate you after 60 day agreements alot. I'd never do business with someone again without a notorzied written agreement.

I would highly recommend anyone looking for business partners to get one of these. Rarely do partners workout over the long term.

Hosting Partner

Travis - I am always looking for people to work with. I can bring alot to the table including my own servers and hefty bandwith. I already have my own hosting system, but it is a do it yourself template system and I would like to explore options beyond that. maybe dedicated servers or straight hosting.

Can't do it all myself, but have the financial and logistical resources to do many things. I am interested if anyone is looking to start a hosting company and would like to partner with someone that already has resoures in place.

I already have dns servers, secure server and web servers in my own data center. So the sky is the limit.

You can see my newest hosting system at pagebuzz.com. Let me know if there is any interest. I am way beyond the $150.00 margin and thinking much bigger. So I need very serious people.

cyclone, how is that relevant to my topic?

You've stated wanting a 50/50 partnership, but gone on to describe how you'll hold exclusive control/decision-making rights for terminating the "partnership". To the extent cyclone's suggestion (that it sounds far more like a boss-employee relationship than it does a 50-50 partnership setup) goes to the very heart of your topic, it's a revelant comment.
