Or you could sign up with the host's affiliate programs so you make some revenue off of any signups your site generates.

You could search for pre-existing reviews posted on companies, forums are a good place to find reviews particularly WebHostingTalk.

People don't write reviews in general, will write maybe and only when will be unhappy, i have also a free host and most of my users are happy, they told me about the great speed and great service, i installed wordpress for them, site icons, created databases but no one reviewed elsewhere my free host. Why ? i think most of the reviews can be bought and are bought.

I'm sorry to say I oppose free web host. Not that they are free and the are competitors but they allow spammer to go and go. The can cancel a spammer then he just reinstalls and spams away.

There are many great web hosting sites out there; but you just have to do your research. IF your going to run a site that has web hosting reviews it is VERY important that your imarinformation is accurate.

There are too many web hosting review sites on the web that post FALSE information about a web host because their sole purpose is to earn incentives or commission. If your going to be sucessful in this business your primary focus should be your visitors and your second focus should be earning income.
