Need a Sponsorship

Hi,

I own www.nbadiscussion.com and www.vrumchev.com, and up until 1 week ago I had been very satified with my hosting from hybridnetwork.net for the past year. Suddenly 1 week ago I noticed my sites had stopped working, and thinking it was simply a little problem for an hour or so I moved on. The following day I checked again and they werent working again. So Idecided to find out what was going on, turns out my host just vanished! So now im in the dark, losing my ENTIRE discussion board with 15000+ posts and 300 members, a pre-made skin and a lot of mods, and a site with over 40 tutorials (which I luckily have back-uped, most things at least).

So now I am asking for some help, I need a host which can provide me with a sponsorship to host my sites and in turn I will advertise you.

If you can provide me with maybe 50GB+ space, 500GB+ bandwidth that will a HUGE bonus and I will try my hardest to repay you, however I am asking for a 1GB space, 20GB bandwidth, and all the extras.. :)

(The 50+GB hosting which I mentioned, means my dreams can come true :) I would like with my NBA forum to host basketball videos which bring in an enormous amount of visitors to my site [and hence woudl increase dramtically the number of hits to my advertisers], but its only a rare dream as I know not many people would be able to offer that, let alone for advertising)

I currently have no e-mail as my hosting isnt working obviously, so the only way i can talk is through AIM and MSN

AIM - dfergege
MSN - vronline3@msn.com

All help would be TRULY appreciated.

Regards,

Vassko R.

Excellent question, Mark.

Vassko, bandwidth is one of the more costly components of hosting. You're asking for either 500 gigs or 20 gigs (one of those is a typo, but I don't know which). This is a serious amount - you're almost asking for your own dedicated server, because a site that uses that much disk space and that much bandwidth is going to pretty much use all the resources on a shared box. In fact, if you were sponsored at your last host, the cost of maintaining your site and not being able to host more than a few other sites on that box may have been a contributing factor in their demise.

Advertising alone simply won't compensate us for the resources used. It's signups that we (as web hosts) need: paying signups. Look for a web host with a good affiliate program, or a pay-for-referral bonus program. You can subsidize the costs of the account that way, and give your site a better chance of having its parent host still be around in a year.

if you are not making enough money with your site to pay for hosting, how good of an advertising deal can it be for a webhost? Plus that is a lot of bandwidth for FREE, and also taking up resources.
