Just got myself a new Mobile Phone. I had a Sony Ericsson P900 on Orange but changed it for a Nokia N70 and moved my number over to Three (3G network).
I am impressed so far with what the network quality is like as well as the handset features.
I had an NEC 3G phone a few years back when 3G came to the UK first. It came with 2 batteries and they didnt last long at all. The handset was clunky and huge. The network was bad and it would cut out even if you had a full signal and were not moving anywhere. Was a horrible phone... but did come with 750 cross network any time minutes for £35/Month which was good!
Now.... The new phone I have is a Nokia N70 which is smaller then the NEC (Smaller then my 2G Sony Ericsson also) and has an amazing amount of things it can do. Calls so far have not cut off, battery life lasts a few days it seems. Content on 3 is a lot better then it was. I can watch MTV as well as other TV channels for 20 minutes at a time which stream. Video calls can be made which are pretty cool... I currently get 50 minutes of free video calls a month.
Along with that I get 2000 free text messages (for 3 months) and then down to 1000. 300 free minutes, £10 downloadable content for free (browsing is free... downloading costs). I can download very clear music videos (About 4Mb in size) in just a couple of minutes.
I can also attach a bluetooth keyboard, it has word processing, spreadsheets, 3D Snakes (Very cool ) as well as many other thing.
Amazing phone which was free on a £30/Month 12 month contract.
I am impressed!!!
