Up to know, in IE the URL format has been:
http(s)://(usernameassword@)website.com
But microsoft are going to remove the usernameassword@ part, which will affect a lot of the ways secure software, management software, and other things which have the username and password in a url work.
Will this affect anyone here? People are getting qutie angry about it elsewhere
