Microsoft ASP.NET forum software - What do you think

Has anyone seen the microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 forum software?

I think the style is very similar to phpbb with things moved around a bit and mixed with a bit of vBulletin.
To be honest, I think it looks really bad..

I dont like the layout or style at all.

Do you think microsoft can be any competition to other forums like vBulletin, phpbb, invision etc. which are using PHP/MySQL

I really don't think this will couse much competition.

I don't care for it plus the majority of users are on Linux servers and most do not support ASP.

I dont think anyone would use it that much... for the same Turnkey said. Plus microsoft is horrible with security issues lately... i dont think I would like one more application with 'Root' access on my box to have the potential security holes MS is notorious for.

I like phpBB becouse it's open source. I love open source and knowing microsoft this is not open source.

I dont think it will simply because its ASP and works best on windows.
You could run it on linux but I think there are bugs for doing that, plus you can get a forum script which is PHP for free, and I think they are better, for example phpbb and invision
