This is a open ended question. Cost is related to location and services. For example in Chicago I suggest stedfast networks as they are cheap. But I understand in Kansas you can get your equipment in a sub $40/u datacenter. but its Kansas!

If you're looking for a DC for colocation I suggest choosing one that it's in your general area and also offers access cards so you can bring in servers/do maintenance anytime you feel like it.
