The day after 9/11, for the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the Queen ordered the Coldstream Guards to play "The Star-Spangled Banner" – the first time a foreign anthem had been played at the ceremony. And I believe the first time one was ever played outside of a state visit.

Here it is: https://youtu.be/xwrX-LN9-L0

Red, white and blue
our fates intertwined
one old and one young
but we stand side by side
through thick and through thin
through rain and through shine
Though we can argue and bicker
and not stand eye to eye,
we share the same heritage
States and Kingdoms United
Flags both Red, White and Blue
Family always undivided.

God Save the Queen

I was due to be in the south tower a week later, as i had a meeting with a company to take over their groups web hosting, which would meant me taking up an office within their suite. The even paid for the tickets and accommodation. These tickets actually arrived on the morning of 9/11.
