Who here actually uses lead services which provided leads for hosting clients? Right now shared hosting is an extremely saturated market! Do the lead services actually work in your opinion. Places like hostvoice.

We do use HostVoice to target clients however you do get alot of dead leads with it, Theres a few more ive come across too but there all the same.

We have found the same thing in the past with hostvoice but I believe you can now set filters on the leads to weed out the leads that maybe false.

It does however cost more $$ per lead. :rolleyes:
 
Still even with the Filters on you cant make all the leads genuine by far not the best way to advertise your services, But i suppose its a start. Banners and such are i suppose better media, And of course you cant beat a good old google ranking :o
 
You should stay like that, However i must say it does get you a few new signups, but you have to pay the price.

I had a friend that used hostvoice, but I would consider other forms of marketing after hearing his experiences.
 
I dont know much about this but i do know about marketing any product or website...the hardest form of marketing or the marketing which hits a population directly is the best...and to me hosting can never be marketed to perfection by new boys because there is simply such a dense market!!
