Just hit 4000 posts

I just realized that I hit 4000 posts here.

I remember finding HD in March 2009 when WHT was hacked and down for a while. It's already 2013 and I'm still hooked on Hosting Discussion, thanks to Artashes and his staff, especially Conor from Hands-on.

While I frequent quite a few forums, many of them have degraded to one line questions and answers that anyone with half a brain could find on a Google query. At least here, we get intelligent conversions and a sense of community.

Wow, party hat, beer, flowers and the works :) Thanks Artashes. Doesn't seem like four years, does it? I'm getting older by the day!

Steve, I've enjoyed reading your posts/threads ever since I joined Hosting Discussion. I've learned a lot from you and from Conor as well.

This is by far my favorite forum and the one I feel most comfortable in for sure. Artashes has always made me feel welcome.

Keep up the great work! :thumbup:
 
Thanks Juan. :) I think we all learn a lot from each other, even if all of HDs members don't agree at times.
 
Definitely a big milestone - congratulations Steve!

There's been a lot to learn over the years, and a lot of info to share - obviously a TON of info with you hitting 4,000 postings. Dare we break that down to ~83 posts a month, or 2.6 posts per day (weekends and holidays included) :)

Great to have you as part of the team and forum here at HD. Looking forward to the big 5,000 and 10,000 :)
 
Thanks Conor - 5000 is reachable, but 10,000 is a long way off. :) So here I am at 5:06 AM on HD trying to reach that number. Yipes! :beer:
 
Wouldn't THAT be a special day to see 10,000 under your username. All of us will grow old by then! :D

Congrats on reaching 4,000 posts. I might be close to that number if I count all forums I've joined. :)

Some day I will reach it also.... some day .. in a far, far away future.

Thanks mikho. :) If I combined all forums, I'd probably be over 10,000 posts - never counted all of them. That's not counting the forums I've been on over the years that folded and disappeared. :)
