Well, it finally happened. Yesterday it was a rain/snow mix here, then it got cold overnight and at about 1:30AM the driveway and steps were just ICE, at 7:00 when I went outside to check it wasn't too bad. Had to scrape the cars and throw down a bit of salt on the steps. And now it is snowing again. It is...beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

How's the weather where you are?

Disgusting. Yesterday, a lot of snow with winds and wet rain shortly after.
Today just raining all day and tomorrow we hit below zero.
This weather is here to stay.
 
I feel quite different about winter these days as opposed to past years. For a couple of decades, I owned a spring water business. So winter meant that my drivers would be challenged by road conditions. Cold temperatures meant that the water would likely freeze on the truck before the end of any given delivery day. So I used to hate winter.

Now, I work at home. No delivery trucks. No water. No worries about driving conditions or temperature.

So now I say...

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow... :dance:

Here in Philadelphia, it reached 75 today. No where near normal for this time of year. Tomorrow is supposed to by in the 50's. IT'S MADNESS!!!
 
I get out of the apartment so seldom that no matter what the weather is like, I really enjoy the time I spend outside.

For now there are no precipitations, but the forecasts show that starting tomorrow it will be snowing. I love the idea! :)
 
Well yesterday it was in the 40's with rain and high winds. This morning I woke up and it was about 38 with just a trace of snow. As the day went on the temperatures have been falling from the 30's into the 20's with light snow.

I know one thing I love and hate the winter. I love it because i work construction as my main job and i get the whole winter off. I hate it because I HATEEEEEEEEE the cold. :sad:

But hey...here comes the Holiday Season..... :santa:
