I operate an autoresponder for the networking marketing industry and I'm having a devil of a time trying to find a host for my services with reasonable pricing and a reasonable tolerance for an occasional spam complaint.
I'm doing everything in my power to be compliant with all rules and guidelines, and I control the source of email addresses being put into my system. All the email addresses we use are from a reputable source and are verified opt-in. Nevertheless, there is always someone who forgot, or whose teenage kid filled in a form, or who is simply not a well balanced person, and spam complaints of this sort will arise.
Anybody understanding of this out there, or do all hosts quiver and slam the door on small businesses every time some person of unknown credibility in a trailer park in North Dakota hollers "spam". If I were Xerox or IBM, I wouldn't have to ask, but since I'm just a guy trying to make a living, I have a problem with this.
