Hello,
I just want to get some peoples opinions about Inverseflow Helpdesk system. Like, does your company use it? If so, do you find it reliable and is it worth the money? $264 at the moment is a little steep for me, but I'm willing to pay for it if it really is worth its weight in gold.

I've also found alternate help desks but this one looks very promising.

Thanks for your feedback as I'm cu

They don't update the software because it is stolen code and they have no idea what they are doing.
If you want to give $264 to people who steal code and spam forums by all means spend it.
You can still get a free version from the original software designer here though.

Piping is an issue with every helpdesk I have ever seen. The reason is that email piping relies on multiple server environment variables, that simply cannot be generalized.

Email piping may work fine for one person, but not work at all for the next, or may work fine for one person, and only work for the other, with some tweaking or adjustments.

Basically, email piping will not work for everyone out of the box.

Actually, the bigger issue is that the ticket thread is not maintained with inverseflow. That means - if a customer replies to a ticket by email, it generates a new one instead of adding the reply to an existing ticket based on parsing the subject line.

I have used it, and I must say t is nice, but it doesnt compare to Kayako. Kayako has beeter features. If you are going to spend the money to get a good support desk, take a look at Kayako first!

I guess its free because its in beta stage. Looks promising and solid so they may turn into a paid script very soon. Just my 2 cents.
