How to hide VDS "behind" the VPN

I have a VDS server with CentOS 7, iptables, apache, ssh. VDS is by Gt host. Also I have a paid VPN account with a dedicated IP. It is necessary that VDS automatically connect to the VPN. Apache should only work through VPN and SSH should only work through a real IP.

OpenVPN is installed on VDS; Config, certificates and the VPN provider key was uploaded in / etc / openvpn. Just after VDS has connected to VPN, the server stops pinging, the web page doesn’t open nor on real IP neither on a dedicated VPN. Tried to turn off Iptables, but it didn’t help.

I need an advice - what to do? I didn’t find any articles on the Internet, probably I hadn’t search correctly, but all the articles on "how to raise VPN server" ...

I am not sure but as I know I think you need to use Proxy system.

Search in google and you can find about haproxy setup on VPS/Server. I am still not sure that it will work or not but you can give a try.
