how to have two domains under one hosting account

i have actually bought two domains. so the new domain i bought would be just a mirror sight of the old one. the new one will redirect to the old domain when a user will access. so how can add two domain under one hosting account in WHM? please help..

You could use the domain add on feature in cPanel to do this or you could set up a new account in WHM and forward the domain to the old domain.

No, from what I gather he wants both domains to go to the same website. To do that, go to your cPanel and "Park" the domain ontop of the original.

It should be added as an addon domain in cPanel, with a redirect to the one he wants to redirect to.

Use domain parking to "park" the 2nd domain on top of the first one.. and then use .htaccess mod_rewrite rule to "redirect" any access to the parked domain to the proper domain. Must easier this way, then having to upload the same files to two different locations.

Also note that one of the comments in the feature request has the necessary .htaccess mod_rewrite rule to accomplish what I described.

if it's both domain pointing to the same website then just a "park" will do

If you use two domains then I guess it may be best to use a 301 redirect using .htaccess so that the major search engines see it as a permanent redirect. This way you should have now problem with doing seo in the search engines.
