How do I Become a Reseller

Well, I'm thinking about becoming a reseller, but I don't want to offer support.

Unnoficially, I host many of my clients a web-hosting company and I don't make a cent off it.

So I want to become a reseller, but I want someone else to do the support. What are my options?

Are you looking for Windows or Nix accounts? There maybe hosting companies that offer support on your behalf but it might be best to look at affiliate options and see if you can work with a host to get % of each client for the length they are hosting with the host.

Hi,

Support is one of the key parts involved in offering hosting. If you don't want to run the servers yourself or provide support, then maybe an affiliate program might suite your needs better.

What you are looking for is reseller hosting with end-user support. In these arrangements, the reseller hosting company will provide transparent support to your customers via a helpdesk they install on your domain.

Cheers!

Hi, Boggart!
I clearly see two options here, the first is to go for your upstream provider's in-house support; the second, to outsource it from the third-party company, there are plenty of them, and some provide low-cost quality support. In case you'll decide to go for the first, google for "reseller hosting inhouse support". I know a few companies who provide inhouse support along with reselling plans: ************, vortechhosting.com, you can find some more reputable ones.
You can also read the thread about support in reselling and see what other think of that.
