Hello all,
me and a few other people are working on a community site for Stargate SG-1: The Alliance game. The site will be one of the first of its kind and will feature everything imaginable on the game including interviews, mods, downloads and forums. In the (near) future the site might be expanded to cover the tv-series aswell.
In terms of how big the site will become content and bandwitdh wise, think Doom3 Portal, probably even bigger.
I predict the amount of visits we get will slowly climb until E3 where the game will be presented. From that point on a good user base should be establised. The game will be released late 2005 and that's when the real traffic will begin to come in.
So to make short, we'll take as much space and bandwidh as you can possibly offer.
The design of the site is about half way through and we're thinking of setting up either the PHPNuke or the PostNuke portal system and then start customizing. We hope to launch the site during this or the next month.
It would also be great if you'd be able to secure a domain name for us.
Either way, in exchange we are prepared to put up your banner on the main page and incorporate your company name/logo/tagline into the footer to be visible throughout the entire site (including forums of course).
