Overview
HostHero is a privately owned web hosting company out of Toronto, founded around 2009 with a pretty straightforward gripe: too many hosts were outsourcing support, overselling servers, and underdelivering on performance. Their answer was to keep everything in-house, running shared hosting, cloud hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, and WordPress plans out of a Toronto data centre with support handled locally around the clock. They serve everyone from solo entrepreneurs to growing businesses, with over ten thousand customers on the books. The about page is honest and to the point, though light on founding details beyond the core mission.
