Hi all ...

I figured I would introduce myself too. I literally stumbled across your site when I was trying to find info via a search engine about my current web host. I am not sure just how active I will become here ... but just this morning I have found some very valuable information here. Thanks.

My name is Peter ... 51 yr old from rural Ontario Canada. I am disabled and I have a few of my own domains and host the websites of a few friends ... but its just a hobby and don't make any money from any of it. Compared to most who probably are members here ... I am somewhat of an idiot when it comes to web design etc :) I have had web sites for 7 years now ... and I am not sure I know any more now than when I started :) Being disabled I do not get out much ... and puttering around with my websites (when my brain is firing on all cylinders) sure helps put in the time.

Anyway ... just wanted to say HI ... and ask that you be a bit patient with me if I happen to come out with anything real stupid :)

Y'all take care ... and Happy Holidays :santa:
Peter

Hello Peter,
I'm happy to hear that you found this site useful and hope that you will return the favour by becoming an active member of the community. Judging on the post you have made already, it seems you are a decent guy with a good sense of humour...Welcome to HD!

Hello Peter and welcome to HD!

I read the section called "My History with FMS" on your site. Your story is almost unreal. :(

We're all learning something new everyday and, personally, I think we have a lot more to learn from you when it comes to life than any of us would have to teach you about web design etc.

Happy Holidays Peter!

Peter, welcome to our community. Don't be afraid to ask anything, even though something might sound stupid, this often can be very smart.

We are here to help each other in every aspect of Internet business anyway (with a focus on hosting).

Btw, I'm in Montreal. :)

Best,

Thanks for the Welcome's ... Equinox, Dan & Artashes ... much appreciated.

Dan ... they say truth is stranger than fiction ... and I found out reality can be a whole lot scarier than fiction to :) As with the multitudes that find themselves in worse spots than I am ... "one day at a time" becomes a really good mantra :)

Artashes ... howdy neighbour ;) As I alluded to ... I am not really in the "internet business" which is why I am not sure if I would ever have any tidbits of knowledge that might be useful to anyone else. But ... we shall see :)

Take care
Peter
