Help with PHP form

Hi all,
I need something that say's in my form, you can't make more than like 5 requests from the same ip within 1 hour so I can prevent spam on my forms, is that possible?

What kind of forum is it? I am sure it can be hacked to do that.

I think he said form, not forum, but anyway, you could just record the IP from the variable that is passed through from php (cant remember it though) and then check if its been done more than 5 times, and if so fail the form. If not, add it to the DB. At 12:00 as a cron job, empty that DB
