Just now I registered a domain at godaddy.com. As suggested by some experts, I did'nt choose the hosting space from the company where I registered my domain name. The following are my requrements. Please suggest me the right choice.

Space : less than 1GB

transfer: As this is a new site, I may not need more than 10GB/mo

Unlimited addon domains: I like to host atleast 5 domains (even more later).

And other usual standard features.

NOTICE TO WEB HOSTS: Please keep in mind that this is a request for a recommendation, not an opportunity to advertise your own hosting company. It is against the HostingDiscussion.com policy to solicit the original poster with offers either publicly or privately.

@ forumblazer: You've just define the specifications that will match every 2nd company. Since your needs are basic, I think it is mostly up to YOU to choose a hosting company. My suggestion to you is to stick with one of the companies that participate at HostingDiscussion.com (they are more publicly exposed than other companies, which is a good thing).

You can scroll through the marketplace shared hosting offers forum or look at companies listed in our Showcase - do some research on those you like and sign-up.

My final recommendation would be to stick to monthly payments, even though you can potentially save 10-20% on annual packages. You never know when things go awry, so that gives you enough security and flexibility to jump boats if necessary. :)

There are many web host out there that can do what you want to do. Your requirements are pretty basic. Do your research and find the right web host for you. If a web host that doesn't offer unlimited add-on domains, ask them for a custom web hosting plan. Best of luck and remember we are here to help you!!!

You should choose a basic shared web hosting at a low price. Like 1&1, lunarpages , fatcow and more. Google what you want to konw, many reviews of cheap web hosting .

Congrats on the domain registration and keeping domains and hosting apart.

Your requirements appear quite basic although you did not indicate if you are seeking linux or windows based hosting.

Probably one of the best ways to get what you seek is to post a request in the Hosting Request area and see what the various companies can offer you.

Best of Luck,
Chris

We would like to suggest serch on shared hosting offers forum section as per your requirement..

The same here. I assume that you will spend minutes to find right web hosting solution as there is no special recruitments here

How fast you want support :) There are a few companies who are so frequent in HD forums. I recommend to choose one of them. It will help you a lot, as long as you are active in the forum as well.

The requirements you mentioned are pretty good..and is being offered by 99.99% hosts in the industry.

Good luck with your site. Let us know which provider you've selected.

<<URL deleted>> offers a package for $3.99 that would fit your needs.

Hope this helps. Let us know what you choose. Good Luck!

your needs are small so shared hosting will suit your needs. There are plenty of hosts here that have plans that will match or exceed your qouted resource needs for $3.99 or so a month.
