Hey everyone,
Just wanted to drop a quick post to introduce myself now that my account is approved.
I’ve been lurking around the infrastructure and hosting space for a while, but I finally decided to join the community officially. I’m a backend developer specializing primarily in Go (Golang), linux environments, and high-concurrency systems.
Most of my time lately has been spent deep in the weeds of network optimization—specifically looking at how to optimize Layer 7 traffic and reverse proxies to keep application backends and databases from choking under heavy, sudden connection concurrency. I love the challenge of squeezing maximum performance out of bare-metal hardware and reducing server overhead.
I’ve recently put the finishing touches on a couple of custom systems I'm pretty proud of, and I'm looking forward to hanging out here, talking shop, swapping optimization benchmarks, and learning from the veteran admins in the community.
If anyone is working on high-load setups, middleware architectures, or just wants to talk Go and infrastructure efficiency, feel free to say hello.
