Well I'm not new to TWH by any means but I have yet to introduce myself. I'm co-owner of Ubiquity Hosting Solutions, based in Normal, IL. Our company is quite new still, although my co-owner and I have both worked with several hosting companies previous to this. My role is basically overseeing our 'front end', as I manage the site, design, and our image as such. Here's a bit about us to anyone interested (yes I like to talk about msyelf)..
We started out this venture with focus on shared hosting, but most of our dealings have been more and more in dedicated servers. At first, we worked out of a colo at FDC with a format very similar to FDC's unmetered packages. Frustrated with FDC's support, network, and reputation, we began to look elsewhere and took our plans off the site temporarily.
Not a day later a data center in IA called us up out of the blue with very serious intent on working with us, and set us up with an even more serious deal; now server sales have gone through the roof. We have roughly the same prices, the same sorts of deals, but now it's in a facility where the support, network, and reputation are all unbelievable. What they're doing with us is 'totally experimental' as they'd describe, they don't offer this to the public - we couldn't have gone and found something better for us if we had tried..
We've since expanded to have 4 additional contract people working with Ubiquity, it's been no more than a month. This is partially in anticipation, but at the rate we're expanding, we feel it will definately be necessary.
