Has anyone tried web hosting through Invision?

I am not sure how many of you are familiar with Invision Power Services, the makers of the Invision Power Boards Forum software.

Anyway, they have been offering paid hosting for both Websites and forums for some time now. Their lowest priced package begins at $10 per month, and the most expensive one goes for about $100 a month.

Has anyone here tried their hosting, or heard anything about it?

I was looking it over earlier tonight and was tempted to sign up, but I wanted to see how the rest of you felt on them.

Thoughts anyone?

I haven't heard of this before. On the whole I like Invision-I think that they are about the most stable and powerful of the forum softwares. But when it comes to hosting there are so many competitors now that they would have to offer something incredibly impressive to lure me in.

The name I trust, I just am not sure they are for me.

Yeah, there are an awful lot of different hosts out there these days. That said, at least we know it isn't just some new fly by night company. Even still, I wonder how good their hosting is and if they would try to nickel and dime you for every cent.

Maybe I can find some reviews somewhere, because I need to know more before I throw down my money.

I've never used them for hosting (or known anyone who did) but I imagine you could judge them partially by how they charge for their forum software. If they nickel and dime you there, they may be likely to do the same for hosting. I'm guessing they offer hosting so forum owners never have to spend money elsewhere unless necessary, but it could go either way.

Invision Power Board Forum software is the best Forum software I have ever used. It very secure and was never hacked or bombed with Spam as some other forums which I used before.

If I were to judge Invision merely on the merits of their forum software, I could go sign up today,no questions asked.

Unfortunately, I need to also know how they would do as a website host and if there were any additional strings attached that I would need to know of. Taken at face value, it sounds like an incredible deal to me. Heck, I would say it almost seems too good to be true. They throw in an Invision Power Board license with all packages also!
