I'm not in the holiday mood at the moment. We've been getting stomped by the same storm that blew through New England this weekend.
Roughly 40 inches of snow, 50+ mile per hour winds for 3 days and still coming down.
The only good point is that the temperature has wandered into the plus side over the last 3 days so the snow is under control. It could have easily been 70-80 inches.

I'd grown used to that green Caribbean Christmas and now I miss it.

10 days.
I sent the plane ticket today.
No electronic ticketing in Havana so I had to send the ticket down Air Canada cargo.
$120 just to send a letter sized package. This whole process has been fantastically expensive but it will be worth it.
 
My God... $120 for a letter. And then they ask what's wrong with the airline industry. Shame on them.

I sure do believe it'll be worth it! I'm so glad you had the whole issue resolved so now you can see each other more often.

Talking about REAL Christmas spirit...
 
The timing will be very good.
The whole process will have taken 5 months and two days by the time she gets home.

actually i've been so busy with school ...:( especially winter break is coming up ...and so many stuff to do) ...well...i just want to stop by this great community and wish everyone a wonderful christmas and a very very happy new year ....2003 is almost over already??
