Well, I'm officially over the hill, turning 60 today. I have to say I don't feel like 60 ... still playing racquetball with my son and running pass patterns (nerf football) with my grandson. Life is good - I have a fantastic wife and Hostirian is a great company to work for. Sure I'd love to be retired and surfing in Hawaii, but I'm not complaining. Big party this evening :)
 
Happy birthday, and enjoy the party. It's amazing how "over the hill" keeps moving up in years ;) Another few years and we'll have "over the hill" at 70 and you can do it all over again ;)

Thanks Conor. I hope I'm around at 70. These over the hill parties are a blast. I'm breaking out the Kahlua.

Steve, never would have thought you were approaching the big sixty, you definitely transcend an appearance of a young and energetic stud to me! :D

So far so good - only two more hours here. Then pick up checks and go home to party. Woohoo !!

You know - I don't know how you're supposed to feel at sixty, but I really don't feel any different than I did when I was in my twenties. Biggest difference I think is endurance. I can stomp my son in racquetball for about ten games, then he starts gaining ground - then I'm crawling on my knees to reach easy shots. LOL

You know thinking back to the BIG Five Zero - that's when I first bench pressed 300 pounds. It was a lifelong dream for me to press 225, and then to reach 300 was out of this world - indescribable. And it was at a gym one block from where I sit right now.

Indeed. For a time, before I heard him talk about his enlarged family, I thought of him as the more or less stereotypical host tech, still youngish and just starting out life. Later on I figured he should be 50-something, but this close to 60, I never guessed it.
