Hey everyone,

I'm sorry I've been MIA for a while over the past 3 weeks or more. We've had some major issues happening at Hands-on (everything from new data centers going online to a pretty ugly server hardware crash). We'll top it off with some personal issues and tax season and well you know where I"m going :)

Summer appears to have beaten Spring up and it looks like it'll be Summer for the next few months, so I've already cranked up the notebook and have a cigar lit as I sit and type this on my deck here in Omaha. Sure they say there's supposed to be a storm later this week, but they're usually wrong.

I know I've missed a ton of threads here, but I will be going back through them and either bringing them back to life or contributing where I can.

All personal messages that were sent to the Private Messages here on the forum are being answered. I've got a few of them hammered out already, but still have some more to finish up before my inbox says 0 Unread :) I WILL get to them, just give me a day or two so I can wrap my head around things.

I'll post again with the full release information about our new data center launches and our Hardware Woes (which were solved in less than 2 hours as we make backups hourly - did you make a backup of your site yet?).

I am so jealous its not even funny. :agree:

Summer has always been slow coming to Canada. We are still wearing spring/fall jackets and scarfs at night time. But I just hope it'll change come May.

Welcome back to the community. I feel there is going to be a lot more interesting discussions happening, as well as a lot of new things happening around here.

We have a long way to go before Summer here.
The weekend is looking promising though.
A good cigar is always a highlight.
I recently stocked up on my rum bar and I'm looking forward to pairing the new rum with some Dominican, Jamaican and Cuban cigars.

I don't smoke, rarely drink, and probably even more rarely go outside and enjoy the surroundings. Looks like I'm missing all the fun in life.

Hey Dan,

Nahh.. you're not missing out on ALL the fun, I'm sure there's stuff you're doing that would make all of us jealous too. I'm just happy to not be ankle deep in snow these days! Today the house is at 81deg, and it's 8pm at night - so very warm day. A nice bottle of Parrot Bay has seen the end of it's days and I cracked open a bottle of Sandleman Port a while ago.

Just happy to no longer be scratching my head and pulling out hair dealing with servers and hardware and things of that nature.
