Halloween is here!!

Just wanted to know what everyone is doing this halloween?
Its a big thing in ireland, especially in the city im from, Derry.
A lot of people go there for the celebrations.
I went down last year but had a bit of an accident, will put that down to drink and never bring it up again  hehe

I think I might drink a "little" tonight, I am Irish afterall

BTW, no, not guinness hehe.

About to go out now, wont be drinking for a good while yet though, only 1pm here.
Hope you all have a good night!
Go have a good time :) (After you all make your daily posts on HT of course!)

It's not big in Norway. Most people use it as an excuse to attack people and their houses with eggs and ketchup. A bit disgraceful I think. Every year police cars patrol up and down the streets to try and catch people throwing eggs. Last year I saw 3 police officers taking eggs and shaving cream of two 14 year olds.

That is truly hear in N.J. /NY is the same like that.

Ok its the day after the night before....
I feel tired hehe.
Wasnt out too late, about 2am but I was up early yesterday morning so was wrecked when I did get home.
There were fireworks in EVERY direction you looked, I was in a higher bit of ground than most of Belfast so I could see fireworks all around, I still dont think it can compare to Derry because the celebrations are very big there.

Halloween is a big thing for most people in Ireland, the north anyway.
There are a few problems with what gooooogle and hostthebest said but there will always be some people that want to ruin the night for others, whatever time it is.

There were a lot of police and brits (The British army) going about here, a lot more than normal, but I didnt see anything happen or see them stopping.

Well, I was not around yesterday, out terrorizing the neighborhood all yesterday and last night :)

If I had a few hours to type, I would tell you all about my halloween, but since I don't.. I'll let you do the math..

$500+ worth of fire works..
4 paint ball guns
30 teenagers
and 12 cop cars with 40 cops chasing us

Just saw something on the news last night...
An old man in England (70) chased 3 teenagers that threw eggs at his house on halloween, when he was chasing them he had a heart attack and died on the spot.
They were arrested but then released without charge.

I think thats a really sad story for what is meant to be a good night..

Yeah i was thinking that last night...
Im sure they didnt mean for anything like that to happen, people do it everyday but its just one of those things you cant really help or stop...

I cant imagine how his family are feeling, dieing for something that shouldnt have even happened...Im sure they arent happy with the kids anyway
