Hi all,
I haven't yet formally introduced myself, so here goes nothing =)
My name is Scott, and im the proud owner of HostMyThing.com. Right now, we offer Shared hosting, along with leased dedicated servers at numerous datacentres. As we expand, I hope to offer VPS solutions as well. I guess you got to start somewhere
As far as qualifications go, I am currently employed as a Network Technician in a local School District. In addition, I have worked on the server end of things for years for numerous hosts, working for free most of the time for buddies and friends of mine. I also plan on working on a few more certs. this coming summer.
So, last June I decided to start my own hosting company (why not?). And here I am today. We have managed to survive almost a year now, with all figures in the black thus far. My goal from the start was not to be a Fly-by-night host, (Ive had some experiences with some... not fun) and I'd say ive managed that so far.
Our website, hostmything.com, is still "under construction". Most of the functionality is there, but numerous pages and KB articles are still absent. This hasn't been a problem, as clients will just open a ticket with any questions.
So there you have it! Greetings to all from HostMyThing!
