Google Caffeine is the latest Google search engine which considers the search from the users perspective and it is fastest of all the search engines. You can see the comparison too. The search engine is more targeted towards long tail keywords, relevancy of the results in the search page.
Great info - I'm a bit ashamed to say that I hadn't even heard of this until now. As the Mashable tests show, the speed really is great though Google wasn't exactly slow before
Holy cow, I like!
We are second after WHT on "web hosting forum" search and third on "hosting forum".
I recently read a very interesting article by Jim Rapoza (chief technology analyst for eWeek magazine) titled "Separated at birth?" in which he compares Google to Microsoft and makes a claim that Google is starting to look more like Microsoft and Microsoft more like Google. His conclusion is based on all these announcements by the search engine announcing that sometimes soon they will launch something bigger and better - usually a Microsoft tactic. Google has been known for just releasing the new applications and taking people by surprise. They had no business warning their competition and artificially pumping up public's interest and expectations. Now, the plays are reversed. Microsoft's release of Bing was quiet and unexpected. People loved it. However, Google's announcement of Google Wave (the collaboration tool that's barely ready yet) and now the hype around Caffeine... Sounds more like something Microsoft would do.
I find it amazingly fast especially for here in Aus - we are so used to a much larger delay in getting search results purely on latency. I wouldn't be surprised if Google has put servers in over here for this search engine(I heard a rumor they were putting some servers in over our way)
Nice find, I wasn't aware of this new change either! Luckily, I just checked out several of my main keywords and I'm ranking high on both the new and "old" Google Search so it won't negatively affect me.
Thanks for the post...I had not heard of Google Caffeine until now. How did I miss this??? I guess I've been living in a dark corner and working all hours for too long to realize what is going on right now!
