Good Wordpress Templates?

Granted

I'm really happy with Wordpress as my content manager. I've been using the Responsive template that's available on the website, and it just looks great, if not a bit on the monotone side. I know there are thousands of Wordpress templates - which ones have you personally used or liked?

There are literally dozens of templates that I like on http://themeforest.net

I've bought 2-3 templates before, but it was a while ago, so it will be difficult to remember which ones exactly. Mostly magazine/news driven templates is what I was after.

Having said that, HostingDiscussion Blog is a heavily modified version of The Morning After theme: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/themorningafter/

I have also purchased quommunication.com news theme before, but I am surprised to see the site no longer load. It was a gorgeous theme: http://www.racktheme.com/quommunication-news-wordpress-theme.html

There were a couple of others, including this one that I liked:

I am easily influenced and inspired by pretty designs.

So in other words, you go SQUIRREL alot Artashes? :)

We like themeforest for wordpress themes. They seem to have alot of decent works there and we have made a few purchases from there ourselves.

Big fan of ThemeForest here too. Many of our client sites are using the Genesis core structure and variations of StuioPress and similar sites. I can't say enough good things about Genesis Theme Framework - heck, our new site is all based through Genesis too ;)

There are tons of free Wordpress theme available on the net, and many of them are great themes. I have tried tons of themes including Atahualpa, White House, and Suffusion. Currently I am using Bombax.

Ahahah! Oh yeah, I remember that one.

While I said that I am easily "influenced and inspired" by pretty designs, they are certainly equally distracting. :)

Wow I never knew that site existed, thank you guys. But one thing I know: if you want to have a good original theme you need to pay for it. In most of the cases this is true.

Yeah, I have to admit that it is true. You will normally get what you paid for. You can expect too much from a theme distributed for free, however good it is.

If you are looking for wordpress theme there are many developers and designers out there starting from $10/template.
