Good Co-Location Hosts

Hey all. I'm new to this forum, and I was wondering if I could get some information from any of the regulars. I'm looking for some of the best hosting companies that offer Co-Location hosting. The companies must have an affiliate program, but also be overall excellent companies. If you've worked with a company you liked, or have heard good things about specific companies, please include them. Thanks.

It's been a couple days since anyone's responded, so I thought I'd try to get the discussion going again. Does anyone have anymore suggestions for excellent co-location hosts?

I use CI Host for colocation (www.cihost.com), and I've been fairly happy with them. They frequently have some really good deals on partial/full rack colo space.

Another colo provider I can recommend is Sprocket Networks: http://www.sprocketnetworks.com/

I don't use them currently, but I have business partners that do. I have seen their datacenter and it's top notch.

Both are in Dallas. CI Host has other datacenters across the country as well.

Can someone please explain what colocation hosting is?

basically, it's a service that you can rent space, network, then bring your own servers there. if you colo one server only, you dont need switch, but if you want to colo more, you might need to buy a switch and ship it to the datacenter as well
