Is there any other free web based email systems that you like? I am looking for one that would be easy to operate and the one that doesn't have a lot of advertising.
 
I'll be launching a test actually with lots of changes than your every day mail server, especially to help prevent people falling for the php fake emailers e.g. http://www.msnmadness.com/find.php?mm=an within the next 4 weeks.

Try Live.com, then again I'm not sure of their levels of advertisement.
 
Today I found Inbox.com which gives 5 GB of space, but its covered with ads.

I also found an interesting service Walla.com. Email is all they do with NO ads whatsoever. Sure they might lack on features, like simple Address Book import tool, but its the good old email service the way it is supposed to be. While they say they provide 3GB box, after signing up I saw I had 5GB of space instead.

FastMail.fm gets good reviews, however the free account is limited to 10 MB of space provided.

Haha ok. Yeah when @live.com emails were leaked I think everyone wanted to grab there names. I managed to grab my fullname rock on. It's a ok AJAX'd based webmail.
