Hi, let me say thanks for viewing this post, today is the day you do your best in your business and pray for all who are part of your life. We as Host Companies can be better each day by being good at what we do. It is more than providing a place for a website it is about being there for your clients and making sure they sites are running all the time.

Well said SWH. I couldn't agree more. When I had my host I had roughly 40-50 clients. I didn't want to be like every other host...I wanted to provide my clients the quality they expected from me. So, I talked to my clients on a daily basis. Some through msn, some through email, and some even through my twitter account for my host.

The thing I loved the most from talking with my clients was finding out ways to improve my service. My clients and I also talked about other stuff. I proactively got involved in their lives. My clients became more than a number, they became friends. Because of that, when it was time to close down it brought a few tears to my eyes. It was like I was losing 40-50 friends all at once.

Getting to know your clients is the best thing you could ever do as a host. Because if you treat them as a number, they will treat you just like a fly by host they've seen a dozen times.
