German Spam

Has anyone been hit lately with tons of spam arriving mostly in German language?

The content is mostly links to different web sites. I was wondering whether someone here would know more about the problem or heard anything in this regard in the news.

I have received some at my Verizon account, but none in our ANM boxes.

Spam is definately a problem everywhere, and it has long since become a pain.

We have at work...none in my ExonNet/Gmail/Personal E-mail though.

I believe I read something about this at the jodohost.com support forums a few days ago.

It would seem as though it's caused by the Sober virus, or a side effect. Which makes sense, as everyone here who got an E-mail with the "Sober" virus attached, also is getting the German spam.
