Free Webhost advise...

Hi - i'm starting a new venture in designing Websites & i;m looking for Free WebHost Service provider that gives .COM domain address ?

ZEROZEROZEROwebhost is very good & also gives FREE .COM address but there are some issues...

Pls. advise - Mave
 
Are you looking for a free web hosting provider that gives out a free top-level .COM (don't know many that do that without forcing you to earn it in some way - be it posting or else) or a sub-domain with .COM ending?
 
If your website is important to you, I'd advise against getting free hosting. You can find reliable hosting for less than $3/mo

Yes..this is what i'm looking for.
 
I would like to say that it will be much better to use paid hosting services in order to avoid headaches.
Many free web hosts impose advertisements to your site and put banners... Besides, the speed and network uptime is not so high.
 
the provider would have to pay for the domain name. If they give that to you for free as well as free hosting they would have no revenue stream. Unless they place ads on your sites or have some other way to generate a profit how would they remain in business for the long term?

You get what you pay for. If you are serious about your venture designing websites I recommend you instead consider a paid hosting service.

You mean you are looking for a web host which will gives you free hosting service and a free .com domain name? I never find such a generous web host. I agree with the others. If you are serious with your website, register a domain name and purchase a (cheap) hosting package. That's the way to go.
 
Well nothing is free, you have to cost something that may not in form of cash. There is something hidden or full of issues. Cheap hosting with excellent features is always the right decision. And in cheap hosting with .com domain i suggest you www.shopaserver.com that I'm using for my some sites and totally satisfied with them. They never turned me down.
 
What's your ultimate goal with these websites?

For example:

Do you want to make money? Because free hosting with ads really turns people away.

its the only way to go isnt it, as you say if you are serious about your site then 3 pound a month plus maybe 5 or 10 pound a year is pittance. you could even check ebay, often good deals on there, for example we listed some money off hosting recently to kick off our new brance of hosting so im sure you willfind something to suit:smash:

Could you give the URL of this company you are referring to? The company I know that sounds like that is a known spammer, so not that great of a reputation, is it?

I would advise you don't attract with free hosting. If your site is important or you want to make little privacy, security, go with cheap hosting. I hope you will get more beneficial than free hosting.
 
My advice is to stay away from any type of free domain/hosting unless it's purely for your own entertainment/hobbyist purposes.
