Free blog hosts that allow your own ad placement

I have heard of some people who have made quite a bit of money off blogs hosted on free blog hosts, so I was thinking of trying to compile a list of free blog hosts that allow you to place your own ads.

Please feel free to share blog hosts that you know of like this, and i'll edit my post to reflect the changes.

I'm not into that free hosting stuff, but I suppose that the people over at freewebspace.net/forums and freewht.com might b able to come up with some providers fitting that description.
 
I have browsed the Freewebspace forums a little bit from time to time, so I will see what I can find mentioned over that way.

I never heard of freewht before though, and I thank you for sharing the link! :)

I will go check them out now, but it looks good so far.

I still intend to compile that list though, so hopefully some other folks will contribute to it as well.
 
I don't do free either, but am seriously considering free hosting in exchange for 1 banner placement per site. I think what you are ferring to might be blogspot.com I know they do alot of the blog hosting. I am not sure if they are free or not though.
