Forum Domains

> What do you think these domains are worth?
The value of a registration fee.

> Why is .com worth more than .net or .org?
.com is commercial property, it is widely used and most popular, while .net relates more to services and .org is simply not used anywhere except for educational and mostly non-profit organizations.

I agree with Artashes. Those domains are not bad but the extensions probably hurt a bit. THey're still nice domains to build sites around. Although the word "forums" restricts the site to mostly a forum based site. If they were a bit more general in the purpose, you could have a site that encompasses far more.

Why is .com worth more than .net or .org?
In addition to the comments above, and as amazing as it may sound, there are still people out there that think all domain names end in dotcom. I ran into one the other day who thought I was trying to scam him by suggesting that they register the available .us version of the name they wanted....

Well, heck. I just noticed that this thread died several months before I even signed up over here....Sorry 'bout that!
