Firefox 7 come on already didn't 5 just come out?

I think they are trying to analyze their new versions user friendliness. In my opinion, it is a practical thing, which will help them to remove any sort of bugs into their newer browsers...

Firefox is quickly losing market share to chrome and I guess this is their attempt to try and claw some of that back.

Mozilla are now trying to follow Google's lead where updates are released on a weekly basis. Although google's updates are usually bug fixes and only usually increase the stability, Mozilla don't seem to have got the hang of releasing updates so quick. Hopefully they will as I have both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox installed and use them both on a regular basis.

it keeps getting more and more streamlined, until there is going to be nothing there, just a blank page. So annoying each time you have to figure out how to reveal your short-cuts and open internet options

By releasing new versions and not fixing up the bugs of the previous versions, Firefox has lost valuable market shares to Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. And in recent months firefox has been reduced by many users in large numbers for problems with its downloadable extensions and add-ons.

work-related --firefox 7.. definitely better from the previous versions on my opinion though chrome is still my choice.

I am preferring chrome lately, firefox is old boring news now, firefox was fast but chrome is on a new level.

I'm favoring Nightly (FireFox) due to no memory leaks and 64-bit support. So far, the only browser besides Internet Explorer that I know of support 64-bit. (Although, I'm not sure if Chrome does or not.)

I've always run Firefox on Windows 7 with no issues. I tried Chrome out the other day and liked it, but I'm too used to Firefox to switch over...
