Hey all,

This is a bit old now, but since no one else in the forum has talked about it, soz.. :)
Firefox 1.5 Has been released, you can download it from here: http://www.mozilla.com/
4.98 MB in size

well for those who want more info. here is a list of improved features in the browser:

* Automated update to streamline product upgrades. - Notification of an update is more prominent, and updates to Firefox may now be half a megabyte or smaller. Updating extensions has also improved.

* Faster browser navigation - with improvements to back and forward button performance.

* Drag and drop reordering for browser tabs.

* Improvements to popup blocking.

* Clear Private Data feature provides an easy way to quickly remove personal data through a menu item or keyboard shortcut.

* Answers.com is added to the search engine list.

* Improvements to product usability including descriptive error pages, redesigned options menu, RSS discovery, and "Safe Mode" experience.

* Better accessibility including support for DHTML accessibility and assistive technologies such as the Window-Eyes 5.5 beta screen reader for Microsoft Windows. Ah, I never knew about this. Then again, I use Opera so it’s not really surprising.

I’ll download it and try it out, yet I highly doubt it’ll be any better than Opera. From the list of changes, there certainly seems to be a few improvements, but to be anywhere close to Opera they really have a long way to go.

I am going to have to try Opera out sometime soon. I use it on my Mobile Phone but not on the PC and I hear some good reports about it.

I found Opera the easiest to change from IE to. I just wish it had better XML viewing properties. Anyone know if there's a plugin / way to make it display XML like IE does?
