Find out the best hosting plan

You need to be far more specific.

There is no "best hosting plan".
Your best bet would be to post in the web hosting request forum and give a very detailed description of your requirements and then ask questions of the hosts who repond to your request.

well these are the basic questions you need to ask your self?

How much can i spend?

How popular is my website?

How much bandwidth do i need?

Whats the Disk space that i would require?

Where would i like my DC's(Data Centers) to be?

by assessing these questions accordingly, you would come to a positive conclusion to your base question.

genesis is right, in additon for that,
i would like to ask. how much money are you willing to spend for your website?

honestly, you can get your site under $10/month

There are many web hosting plan out there which allow you to create a e-commerce site.

For faster and hassle free setup, i suggest you to sign up for a web hosting plan to could allow you to install e-commerce software such as osCommerce, Zen Cart and Cube Cart.

These e-commerce software are easy to install and configure.

The above is correct. There are many great hosting companies which would provide excellent service for an e-commerce site, but not all of them make it easy to install that type of software. I would create a list of companies which install the software mentioned then find customer reviews of each one to narrow it down.

I agree with everyone else, there is no "best" hosting plan. Everybody has different requirements so their best plan with will different then others. Figure out what you need and your budget, then do some research to find the best plan for you.

Hi marble,

Yes, all of them are correct.

First of all, you must know where is your market? Most of your visitor will be in your local country, Euro country or Asia. You must clear on this. Once you know your market, you choose the nearest data center that can benefit you and your visitors.

You need to research and look into hosting companies. Also think about your budget, bandwidth usage and diskspace. Don't just go for unlimited bandwidth/diskspace hosting offers. Be realistic, for example 10GB diskspace and 100GB Bandwidth would be good enough for around 10$.

Ofcourse you should also check about the SSL security features the host provide, and the mysql performace levels on the server too.

What kind of budget do you have? For ecommerce, I don't think you should go on the cheap side. I'm not saying to go over the top, but be willing to spend a reasonable amount. With ecommerce, make sure the host has a good upgrade path. That way, as you grow, you can simply upgrade to fit your needs.

If your site is going to be really used, I seggest get alot of Bandwidth and Not too much disk if your not going to upload alot of files.

Check the request section post there.

genesis Very well said.
