ATT
Our new uplink from ATT should go live on October 1st. Due to limited quantity (only 1Gbps uplink) it will not be added to existing bandwidth mix to avoid heavy oversubscription.
IPs routed through ATT will be only available for customers who can document they run latency sensitive applications (i.e. game servers). Those IPs will be available at no extra charge however we do reserve the right to deny the access to the ATT backbone for customers whose traffic is either abusive or inappropriate for this uplink
HE.NET
We have signed additional 10GE (10Gbit/s) of IP transit from HE.NET (hurricane electric). This uplink will be added to our existing bandwidth mix to further increase the amount of available bandwidth for our customers. PREMIUM Bandwidth network segment - INTERNAP
FDCservers is happy to announce new Premium Bandwidth network segment that will go online first week in October. This new segment will feature pure %100 INTERNAP bandwidth. FDCservers has signed up 10GE (10Gbit/s) connection from INTERNAP that will be used for the new Premium Bandwidth segment only. The bandwidth on the Premium Bandwidth segment will be %100 dedicated and non oversubscribed.
INTERNAP bandwidth uses performance based routing opposed to industry standard BGP4 routing protocol. More information about performance based routing is available at http://www.internap.com/product/tech.../page1533.html
INTERNAP bandwidth mix contain tier1 carriers such as AT&T, MCI, Sprint, Savvis, Level 3, Global Crossings and Verio.
PREMIUM Bandwidth network segment will be primarily intended for game server hosts and other latency sensitive applications.
FDCservers customers (new & existing) will have the option to select between the network segments or have access to both at the same time.
!!! PLEASE NOTE !!! addition of this new network segment WILL NOT IMPACT monthly fees of our existing customers. Existing customers will be able to buy the access to the premium bandwidth segment as an add on service if interested.
