Ever tried The Dialectizer?

I wrote an article recently about language translators on my blog, and while poking around the Internet found the Dialectizer. It takes text or other web pages and instantly creates parodies of them in a variety of formats, like Redneck, Jive, Elmer Fudd, Pig Latin and others. There are other sites that do this too, but just for fun I tried the Redneck version on one of my articles. Pretty funny stuff -

Hostirian, as enny fool kin plainly see.com

One of th' great divides acrost cultures has allus been th' language barrier. Not only does ah not knows how t'speak, read o' write other languages, offen ah cannot tell whut th' language is jest by lookin' at it – fo' example, Ko'ean, Chinese o' Japanese. ah received an email in Chinese? today an' went t'mah no'mal online translato' t'see whut it said, but Chinese t'English wasn’t one of their opshuns.

Auto Deteckshun

I’m reckonin', whut eff'n this hyar isn’t Chinese? Do ah try multiple translato's until one wawks, o' is thar a translato' out thar thet simplifies this hyar whole messy process? To mah amazement, ah foun' Bin' Translato' which has an auty deteck opshun. Wow! Fry mah hide! ah plugged in mah email message an' was able t'instantly read Chinese spam in English. LOL.
:D

You know, back in the days when I ran a BBS (many moons ago) I had a module that would allow the translation. Always loved the interpretations! Wish there were more languages :)

Seems to convert your site pretty nice. Our site gets slammed with CSS and include statements to throw off the nice page layout :(

I tried to check one of url and it's showing "A timeout occurred while attempting to dialectize a remote page. "

I've tried this on quite a few sites - just to amuse myself - using Redneck and ValleyGirl and Elmer Fudd. Some work well while others not so well.

Gave it a crack on a few sites, though the Swedish Chief option was a laugh brining back many a good laugh from the childhood era :) notably “Bork Bork Bork!” for those who remember the series.

Section from our site came out as
Ve-a du nut feel yuoo shuoold hefe-a tu pey mure-a fur feetoores thet yuoo du nut use Bork bork bork!

Still somewhat understandable :D
