Ethical? Or Not?

TBH... i think they can say what they please and good luck to them. If they are happy that what they are saying is within the law and they are happy enough to say it knowing that Verisign could probably sue them for something then it's up to them really. IMHO.

Hah.. right. But Mark, think about this. They of course can say whatever they want if it is the truth and within the law, but there are code of ethics standards to be followed, too. And they seem to forget about it.

I know that many many Internet companies tried to strike VeriSign decision to hijack the domain world, but they could have released an official press release with their official statement instead of coming back at them like that, in a bit rude and aggressive format.

I've had a think about it... and re-read the article. Still can't see a problem i'm afraid. Have tried looking at it from an Ethics POV... and can't see a problem there either. All i can see is two rival companies and one having a pop at the other (whilst knowing it will possibly have the support of most of the wider community in doing so... except for perhaps Verisign shareholders). Oh well.
