Enom is so frustrating! Urgh...

Just for the record - transfering domains from Enom to GoDaddy is beyond ridiculous. After I purchased the domain off someone, I have been trying to transfer it for over 3 weeks already.

After numerous various attempts, now everything seems in order: administrative information email changed in Whois, EPP/Authorization code has been input in GoDaddy to start the transfer... and it still won't let you accept. Why have they made it so complicated?

:smash:

I have never had any problems with Enom on its own.
Any transfers to or from Godaddy accounts can be a pain in the ass.

Nothing compare to trying to transfer .ca domains though.
CIRA are a bunch of jerks who make every step of the domain process a pain in the ass.

I agree with you there 110%. I had the privilege of registering and managing one .CA domain... That was enough for me.

There is a positive side to it though - at least the .CA isn't going to be commercialized and abused to death as .COM zone.

I have moved domains in and out of GoDaddy manyatimes. may be i have been lucky not to face any problems. Enom, yes i have heard about its domain management panel but then once you fill in EPP code, its for GoDaddy to pull out the domain from Enom or return the money.

On lighter note, Artashes are you moving to GoDaddy, because Bob got a bimbo to dance on your TV sets and superbowl ads? :P
j/k

I hate godaddy myself. If your going to KEEP a domain JUST with godaddy their quite good then. However, transfering TO or FROM them just is too stressing. I rather sign up with a registrar that isn't too packed with customers and has good support.

I've always found transferring into and out of godaddy a major PITA. The only problem I have ever had with enom is not recieveing the email EPP codes to teh admin contact due it tripping some spam filter system.

Why transfer away from eNom? I'm thinking about using eNom from now on, but I'm looking for people who can share their experiences.

There are MANY good deals out there now. There are other places and resellers, who are giving away accounts for free. The prices for the accounts in terms of domains is about $6.75 per a name. That's a pretty good price, I don't think even enom has that price?

$7,95 per domain per year thanks to Modernbill.

I believe the cheapest I know is $6.25, I forget which company was giving it out. You had to place funds into the account in order to get it for free.

In my experience, transferring from anyone is difficult, because they dont want to go away from them. Only luck people can get to transfer easily.

Well, transfer is now become a routine. Well if you have all the EPP/Authorization code and the existing admin id in the whois then it should not create a problem.
